Survivormen: BSA Troop 880

We had a survival campout a few weeks ago. The boys had a limited list of things to bring and we had to make due with what we had. Bro Billings showed us how to start fire with two sticks. We finally became men that day.

We had a wonderful week at Camp Geronimo last week. Troop 880 got the award, "Big G Silver" for all the work we did on the service project and camp maintenece.

Most of all the boys got the "I did it all" award which consists of the Polar Bear award and the Tenderfoot run along with knot tying and participation in many activities.

Angel Basin via Trail 110

We went on a 9 mile roundtrip hike this weekend. It was an extremely successful trip. Here are some photos of our overnighter. A Good looking Troop. Bro Reidhead got a piece of exploding rock in the leg. Yowsa!
